Project responsibility
The Design Team Leader is one of the key client facing team members; the driver and supporter of project insight, evaluation, interrogation, brief and strategy, and is responsible for ensuring the best creative execution through ‘Team United’.
The Design Team Leader is the person primarily responsible for establishing the creative strategy and leading the team to develop the appropriate solution to a client brief, defining and managing as follows:
Client management: Coordinate with the Project Principal to ensure our clients expectations are managed at all times and feeding into the Generation Team any potential pipeline work.
Administration and finance: Input into the scope of works, project programmes, development of all associated fees, storyboarding of deliverables, management of Change Orders, weekly Sales Dashboard input, project meeting attendance and participation.
People: Inspire and engage the project team, define its deliverables and its approach to delivering the work. Keep the team happy and ensuring the right people and skills are in place at the right time.
Deliverables: Quality control of all phases in line with Generation Edge Five Principles.

Drive and deliver on the Generation Edge Five Principles wherever possible
‘Magic & Logic’: Enshrine the balance of creative and practical thinking in every project
Proactively and positively participate in weekly meetings ensuring:
Team United compliance: Management of time, resource in support of the Project Principal
You report in an honest, open and efficient manner
Proactively participate in meetings and ensure our quality manual and methodologies are first class
People: Nurture, support, train and retain our people.
Report to the Head of the People
Help define, grow and maintain our company culture.
Mentor senior, intermediate and junior team members through their Personal Development Plans (PDP’s).
Generation: Find, inspire and nurture our clients, and promote the business.
Report to the Head of the Sales
Attend and participate in designated meetings, providing updates
Ensure full co-ordination of opportunities into our CRM system
Liaise with Business Development and Account Managers as appropriate, cross-fertilising sectors, disciplines, projects and clients
Follow Generation Edge brand protocols
Attend appropriate networking events and liaise with the Generation Team to ensure full co-ordination into the company’s CRM system
Finance: Be proactive in managing costs at Edge.
Report to the Head of the Finance Category
Sales Dashboard: Ensure all project related finances are fed in on a weekly basis.
Be proactive and efficient in managing costs at Edge.
Management: Drive, manage and improve all policies through the business.
Report to the Head of the Management
Work closely with the senior team to drive through the company’s Business Plan and ethos.
Develop, embrace and apply the company’s policies wherever required.
Participate in leading and assisting teams as defined below and whenever changes occur (instructed by the Principals).
